PRO BONO
The Gałczyński Osowiecki Banasik sp. k. law firm implements the pro publico bono idea by providing free legal assistance to people who cannot afford legal services but need such help.
The GOB law firm team is involved in many socially important projects. We undertake activities related to providing free legal services to public benefit organizations, as well as through substantive support, education, promotional activities, and charitable financial assistance.
Association of Wounded and Injured in Missions Outside the Country
We will provide free legal assistance to the Association itself and its members (over 300 veterans) in the field of broadly understood administrative, criminal, and civil law. People who, due to their factual situation, are positively recommended by the Association to receive free legal assistance – such as families of the fallen – will also be able to benefit from assistance in the form of consultations and legal advice.
The Association of Wounded and Injured in Missions Outside the Country was established in 2008 on the initiative of active duty and reserve soldiers who served in foreign missions, were wounded, injured, or whose problems result directly from serving outside the country’s borders.
Pro-Am Foundation, implementing the "Mom! I'm going to the field!" program
GOB Team members will provide free legal assistance to children in the field of broadly understood family law and criminal law.
Thanks to the support of Donors and Sports Partners, the Foundation has been giving children from families in difficult financial or family situations the chance to enjoy regular physical activity for another year.
During the first three years of the program’s existence, the Foundation managed to invite 177 children to various types of sports activities. This was the result of tennis and squash players’ involvement in three editions of the Warsaw Charity Cup charity tournament. Year by year, more people are willing to support the initiative individually or as company representatives. In three years, we managed to create initiatives that combine pleasure with usefulness, sports with helping others. The “Mom! I’m going to the field!” program was twice recognized in the S3KTOR 3.0 competition for the best Warsaw NGO initiative in the “Activating” category, while the Warsaw Charity Cup tournament was among the semi-finalists of the “Sports Startup Project” competition.
For cooperation in program recruitment, the Foundation invited Organizations that work daily with Warsaw families: Warsaw Family Support Center, Warsaw Social Assistance Centers, and Przyjaciółka Foundation.
Life Donors Foundation Motorcycle Rescuers
We are pleased to inform you that GOB law firm provides pro bono support to the Life Donors Foundation Motorcycle Rescuers! Our cooperation includes legal assistance to the Foundation, its members, and regular legal training.
The Foundation was established by a group of rescuers and motorcyclists and deals with:
- spreading knowledge and practice in the field of road safety and first aid;
- disseminating skills for responding to situations threatening health and life, with particular emphasis on road traffic hazards and traffic accidents;
- increasing awareness of Road Safety (BRD) rules among all traffic participants, with particular emphasis on motorcyclists;
- conducting educational activities, including building awareness among traffic participants from the youngest age;
- partnership cooperation with organizations with similar activity profiles.
The Foundation conducts a range of activities directed not only to current road traffic participants or only to motorcyclists – its members take an active part in preventive and educational activities in elementary schools, either training children or familiarizing them with first aid in a playful manner.
